DCX Line

If you are an aspiring touring sailor and are looking for a low-stretch material, here is your simple answer: the DCX touring laminates from Dimension-Polyant have been developed to produce high-strength laminates. Of course, we know that it is equally important to provide you with a sail that is easy to handle when furling. That is why our refined line is manufactured from mesh placed in two films with special taffeta at both ends. The mesh fabrics used are characterised by excellent warp stretch and high tear strength. The film covering the taffeta is durable and additionally coated with our unique UVM® Finish, adding two further desirable features to the sail: it will be protected from harmful UV radiation and mould growth will be reduced. Today, Dimension-Polyant's DCX line represents one of the latest developments in the ply laminate industry. To create the DCX line, we improved the DC mother line with 9° X-PLY®. Your sail is sure to benefit from this significantly increased support for the diagonal forces that occur.
