If you’re an ambitious recreational sailor looking for a material with low stretch, here’s your simple answer: Dimension-Polyant’s DCX recreational laminates are designed for the production of high-strength laminates. Of course, we know it’s just as important to provide you with a sail that’s easy to handle when furling. That’s why our sophisticated line is manufactured using a mesh sandwiched between two films, with a special taffeta at both ends. The mesh cloths used feature excellent warp elasticity and high tear strength. The film covering the taffeta is durable and additionally coated with our unique UVM® Finish, giving the sail two more desirable features: it will be protected from harmful UV radiation, and mold growth will be reduced. Currently, Dimension-Polyant’s DCX line represents one of the latest advancements in the laminate industry. To create the DCX line, we enhanced the parent DC line with 9° X-PLY®. Your sail will certainly benefit from this significantly increased support for diagonal forces.
