We design the Head Sails racing sail program as a set. The number of sails included depends on the customer’s needs, the crew’s capabilities, and the prevailing wind conditions in a given body of water. In collaboration with the best design teams, we create sails with various shapes optimized for different wind ranges. We optimize the sail’s weight and strength, the distribution and size of the battens, and the method of attachment to the forestay. We develop a custom fiber composition and distribution to deliver the best sails available today. We also provide deck covers for these sails, if needed, which make changing, folding, unfurling, and storing the sails easier.
