Asymmetric spinnaker A2 runner

A2 is medium wind VMG runner and at the same time the most versatile asymmetric spinnaker across the ASY sail range ( A-...). Designed for a wide range of conditions, it performs well from light to moderate winds, offering stability, power and predictable handling on full courses.

Thanks to its optimised geometry, this spinnaker provides excellent acceleration and high VMG while allowing flexible control of the boat in variable conditions. The A2 is the sail that „does most of the work” during races - pulling out the maximum potential of the craft when the wind starts to build, but still remains too weak or too variable to switch to heavier sails.

It's a basic, versatile asymmetric spinnaker, chosen by both racing and recreational crews when a sail is needed that is reliable, fast and effective over the widest possible wind range. The A2 performs well on long hals, providing a balance of power and control - which is why it is the most commonly used sail in the kit.
