Asymmetric spinnaker A1

The A1 is the lightest and most low-water spinnaker in the entire ASY ( A-...) family of sails. It was designed as a High-performance VMG reacher, which allows you to sail at top speed in the lightest conditions - ideal in windy conditions up to about 10 knots, when the traditional A2 is already too heavy to work effectively.

Thanks to its extremely lightweight construction and relatively flat profile, the A1 fires quickly, maintains a stable shape and enables smooth acceleration even in minimal wind pressure. This allows the vessel to realise its full potential when sailing full courses, especially on long racing distances where every fraction of a VMG knot counts.

This spinnaker has been developed for crews expecting the highest efficiency in light winds - it is the ideal choice for calm days when maintaining the boat's speed and dynamics is most challenging.
