Reinforced battens are marked with the letter “R” (Table in the last photo). The core consists of two curved battens made of Swedish stainless steel, and the reinforced version has four curved battens for a stronger and stiffer result. Stainless steel is the optimal material for this purpose, but like any material it has its limitations. This material allows the molding to bend, but if the product is used incorrectly and the molding is bent to a radius of less than approximately 50 mm, the product will not be able to recover and will become permanently bent.
Make sure you do not bend the battens to a radius of less than 50 mm.
