Rutgerson Furling Battens

The reinforced slats are marked with an 'R' (Table in last photo). The core consists of two curved slats made of Swedish stainless steel, and the reinforced version has four curved slats for a stronger and stiffer result. Stainless steel is the optimal material for this purpose, but like any material it has its limitations. The material allows the slat to be bent, but if the product is used incorrectly and the slat is bent to a radius of less than about 50 mm, the product will not be able to recover and will be permanently bent.
Make sure you do not bend the strip to a radius of less than 50 mm.
