FLEX® Sport Lite Skin®

The FLEX® Sport line is introducing Lite Skin® to its crosscut laminate lineup.

Lite Skin® is an irregular network of nonwoven fibers laminated into a flexible composite structure. It provides reduced shrinkage of the film, increased abrasion resistance, and a unique, opaque finish that gives sails a modern and technical look.

The new Technora® Black X-PLY® mesh, woven at a 45° angle and combined with black aramid and a polyester warp, creates a durable crosscut cloth that’s ideal for club racers.

– FLX07 LS® (1.5 mil, 5.5 oz) – 20–25-foot yachts, mainsail and headsails (#1–#3)
– FLX11 LS® (1.5 mil, 6.1 oz) – 26–30-foot yachts, mainsails and headsails (#1–#3)
– FLX14 LS® (1.5 mil, 6.7 oz) – 31–35-foot yachts, mainsail and headsails (#1–#3)
– also recommended for boats up to 45 feet in racing configurations
