Challenge is excited to introduce Code-Tec, a series of new fabrics designed specifically for the new generation of asymmetric and reaching sails used in modern racing and cruising designs. As full-width sails designed for tighter sailing angles evolve with new structural and lineless luff designs, Challenge has developed this unique new fabric series to meet the performance requirements for this new generation of sails. Code-Tec uses high strength fibres and a patented Sun-Tec UV coating to create a high quality but durable Code sail fabric that has low stretch, high tear strength and the ability to withstand repeated furling on modern systems. Code-Tec has a tear and tear strength unprecedented in polyester spinnaker fabrics.
