Challenge is pleased to introduce Code-Tec, a series of new cloths designed specifically for the new generation of asymmetric and reaching sails used in modern racing and cruising designs. As downwind sails designed for tighter sailing angles evolve alongside new constructions featuring structural and line-free luff designs, Challenge has developed this unique new series of cloths to meet the performance requirements of this new generation of sails. Code-Tec utilizes high-strength fibers and a patented Sun-Tec UV coating to create a high-quality yet durable Code sail cloth characterized by low stretch, high tear strength, and the ability to withstand repeated rolling on modern systems. Code-Tec offers unprecedented tear and break strength among polyester spinnaker cloths.
